Syed Shahid Ali – Chairman

Syed Shahid Ali has a Master’s degree in Economics from University of Punjab, a Graduate Diploma in Development Economics from Oxford University and a Graduate Diploma in Management Sciences from University of Manchester. He has been Chairman of Loads Limited since 2005 and is currently CEO of Treet Group of companies. He is also Director on the Boards of various public companies including Packages Limited, IGI Insurance Limited, Ali Automobiles Limited etc. He has been actively involved in social & cultural activities and is Chairman of the Governing Boards of several hospitals and philanthropic organizations including Gulab Devi Hospital and Liaquat National Hospital.

Munir K. Bana – Chief Executive

Munir K. Bana qualified as a Chartered Accountant from A.F. Ferguson& Co. in 1972 and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has been on the Board of Loads Limited since 1996, initially serving as Director Finance and later elected as Chief Executive of the Company. Previously, he served on the Boards of various multi-national companies including Parke-Davis & Boots as Finance Director for 18 years. He also served over 10 years as Honorary Chairman of Karachi Tools, Dies & Moulds Centre, a public-private partnership. He was elected Chairman of Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (“PAAPAM”) for the year 2012-13. Currently, he is also a Board member in all the Treet group of Companies as well as Pakistan Steel Mill.

Syed Sheharyar Ali

After completing his BBA from Saint Louis University in 2001, Syed Shaharyar Ali started his career with Packages Limited. Currently, he holds the position of Executive Director in Packaging Solutions, a project of Treet Group. His portfolios also include member governing body Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi, President Punjab Netball Federation, Vice President Punjab Cycling Association, Director GET Motor Cycle Project, Vice President All Pakistan Music Council, Director Gulab Devi Hospital and Director Cutting Edge (Private) Limited.

Ms. Huma Pasha – Director

Huma Pasha has 35 years of rich experience in the accounting profession. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors, USA (IIA) and Certified Internal Control Auditor from the Institute of Internal Controls, USA (IIA). Huma completed her Chartered Accountancy from A.F. Ferguson in 1975 and then moved to Citibank, Karachi and UAE and Bahrain to head their Credit Department.

She has extensive work experience as head of internal audit in large corporates of Pakistan and is very active with the Institute of Internal Auditors Global, and currently is on the Professional Issues Committee. She was on the IIA International Board from, 2010 to 2012. Previously, she was President of IIA Karachi and ISACA Karachi Chapters’ and is currently the Advisor of Chartered Accountants Women’s Forum of ICAP and a member on ICAP’s Continued Development Committee and IT Committee. She has also served on the Quality Assurance Board of ICAP (2009 to 2011), was a member on the Audit Committee of the State Bank and has also conducted quality control review of State Bank of Pakistan in 2010.

She is a professional trainer and has over 20 years of experience and has carried out seminars and conferences for the organization that she worked for as well as for Institute of Internal Auditors; SACA Karachi; Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) as well as ICAP. She is also a trainer at their Directors Training Program conducted by ICAP.

Currently she is senior partner with Usmani & Co., CHartered Accountant since 2015

Mr. Abdul Majeed Sheikh – Director

Mr. Abdul Majeed Sheikh is a Master’s in Business Administration from Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, and Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical faculty from N.E.D. Engineering College, Karachi.

He retired as a member of Board of Directors of Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited, where he served as Senior General Manager, Corporate Planning & Logistics, and later as Director (Operations). Earlier, he was Executive Manager, Senior Manager, Manager and Deputy Manger in Awami Autos Limited (1981 ~ 1983) and Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (1983 ~ 1992). His prior engagements include Deputy Manager & Assistant Manager in Pakistan Automobile Corporation (PACO), Karachi (1980 ~1981), Assistant Manager Technical in Peoples Steel Mills Limited, Karachi (1973 ~ 1980) and Assistant Engineer in Marine Consultant Limited (1973)

After retirement, he served as Director Industrial Liaison & Consultant to Dean (Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering) at NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi and is currently part-time Advisor to Yamaha Motor (Pakistan) Private Limited as General Manager (Coordination)

Mr. Muhammad Mohtashim Aftab – Non-Executive Director

Mr. Muhammad Mohtashim Aftab is a qualified accountant from Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMAP). He joined Treet Group of Companies as Chief Financial Officer in November 2019. He has vast experience and exposure in strategic planning, industry analysis, financial/economic analysis & project evaluation, treasure management, international trade and international trade finance. His expertise also lies in financial and non-financial reporting, tax management, financial restructuring (including debt/equity, restructuring/balance sheet repositioning & capital restructuring), financial engineering and corporate affairs.

He started his career with A.F. Ferguson & Co. Chartered Accountants as Consultants for 2 years and then joined Kot Addu Power Company Limited and reached the position of Chief Financial Officer and worked there for more than 23 years.
